    • Absolutely! The picture was taken with no special settings using Top Camera, thought there was some wind that caused the foreground pink bud to move and be out of focus. Then, in iPhoto, I used the soften brush. I’ve found that I get the best results when I use the button that allows you to soften the entire image on the highest setting and then I just erased the effect from the white flower. Finally, I applied the vintage style 9 in Snapseed and bumped the saturation slightly.

      • Thank you, Paul. I was actually trying to explain how simple and powerful Snapseed is to a couple of my friends last night. Both had downloaded it when I told them to, but neither had even launched the app.

      • I find that with a lot of folks. It’s definitely not an app that lends it self to quick editing but it provides so much control. I am planning on writing a few posts to help beginners out.
